Need to test the permeability of your pond soil? Our team can help! We use ASTM Standard D2434 to conduct our hydraulic conductivity tests, so you can trust the results. Results are delivered electronically.

Bentonite Application Rate Analysis is also available.  This soil testing includes analysis of 3 bentonite application rates.  Sodium bentonite clay is blended with the sample soil and compacted in the permeameter to simulate the clay supplemented pond liner.

The base level test is Saturated Hydraulic Conductivity analysis of untreated site soil.

The Bentonite Application Rate Analysis includes the base untreated soil Saturated Hydraulic Conductivity testing plus analysis of 3 bentonite application rates applied to the soil sample using high-swell, Wyoming Sodium Bentonite Clay.  

Pond water balances are best completed with a known saturated hydraulic conductivity to be sure that adequate water is available to maintain a full water body.  

All testing is completed using ASTM Standard D2434.
