About The Products in Duckweed Destroyer Pack
Cutrine Plus is formulated to control green water / planktonic algae, chara, and filamentous algae / bottom growing string algae.
Active ingredient: Copper complex 27.9%
Limit treatment to half of the ponds surface at a time, wait 10-14 days between treatments to avoid oxygen depletion
Cutrine plus is EPA - approved for ponds / lakes, potable water, and fish hatcheries.
Do not use in ponds containing Trout, Koi, or Goldfish unless the carbonate hardness levels read above 50 ppm*
Harvester is a broad spectrum, non selective, aquatic herbicide designed to treat floating and submerged pond weeds.
Active ingredient: Diquat Dibromide 37.3%
To minimize oxygen depletion only treat up to half of the surface every 10-14 days
Water restrictions*: 3 days post treatment for drinking, 1 day post treatment for livestock or domestic animal consumption, 5 days post treatment for irrigation
Can be used immediately after treatment for fishing or swimming
AquatiStick is a non-toxic algaecide/herbicide treatment enhancer that helps the chemical stick to the desired pond weeds. Surfactants such as AquatiStick are commonly used to increase the effectiveness of herbicide and algaecide treatments. By adding Aquati StickPlex Mate should be used on floating or emerged weeds and surface algae
AquatiStick is not a stand alone treatment, it assists other treatments and improves effectiveness

How to apply Duckweed Destroyer:

It is important to treat early on a sunny day and make sure that the product contacts all of the duckweed or watermeal that you intend to kill. If any plants remain that are not turning yellow or brown after 24 hours, apply to the remaining green plants. Note that follow-up treatments may be necessary when targeting duckweed or watermeal.
Only treat one half of pond every 10-14 days

When is the best time to treat duckweed based on water temperature?
The best time to treat duckweed is when water temperatures are around sixty degrees or warmer. Warmer pond water temperatures make the duck weed plants more active causing them to take up the herbicides more quickly for a better treatment.

Duckweed Killer Reviews - What our Customers Say
Amazing
My husband and I were at our wits end with the way our pond looked by late Spring. Covered with a pea-green color muck over the entire pond! I contacted Natural Waterscapes at the beginning of the year and used the Duckweed Destroyer and Clean Pond Maintenance. We are so happy that our pond is virtually without algae and weeds. The key is spraying once you see it start! -Laura W.
Duckweed on the run
I’m not on any social media or I would post it there.
Just follow the directions. It only took 2 applications. We killed the edges into the pond about 30 feet (that's as far we could get with our sprayer). When that died, the remaining Duckweed drifted to one side. Killed that in the second application. And Voila' !
Before: 100% covered in Duckweed
