What makes the Vertex Pondlyfe System better than competitors' systems?
The Vertex Pondlyfe Aeration System includes quality parts that are backed by their 3 year warranty! The compressor cabinet is a powder coated aluminum and includes a lifetime warranty against rust! Cabinet is available in 3 colors- Stone, Sand, and Garden. The New diffuser stations are self weighted for easy installation. Diffuser membranes are designed to self clean. Includes a GFCI Safety Circuit, and is ETL Safety Certified.
The Pondlyfe Aeration Systems are capable of aerating 1 acre, up to 30' deep. This system is also an excellent choice for shallow ponds up to 1 acre. Ponds that are less than 8' deep require more diffusers than deeper ponds of similar size. Shallow water makes it difficult for the diffuser to properly circulate the air throughout the pond. Adding more diffusers helps to circulate the water without having to increase the compressor size.
What is the maintenance for a Pondlyfe Aeration System?
It is recommended by the manufacturer that the air filter element be replaced every 3-6 months to limit dirt from reaching the compressor. The Compressor Maintenance/Rebuild Kit should be completed every 1-3 years for optimum compressor performance.
